Project Mgr Intern — Global Sourcing, Product Dev & Supply Chain
Location: Beverly Hills (10-20 Hours Weekly)
Hours: M-F, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, Part-Time
(Flexibility working with City Global’s Shenzhen Office - GMT+8)

City Global seeks an innovative and analytical Project Manager Intern who wishes to gain experience in global sourcing, supply chain, or international business. The ideal candidate must have confidence working with high-profile clients' marketing and creative departments who lean on us for ideas, critiques, and suggestions.
We are looking for a candidate who can handle tight deadlines while maintaining client relations and keeping production teams on the schedule. The right candidate has superior customer service skills and knows how to address time-sensitive information respectfully and adequately. This person will have a hand in the brainstorming, ordering, and shipping of all projects and must remain highly detail-oriented while overseeing numerous projects simultaneously.
IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL:
Build creative and informative decks with quotes within 24-72 hours for clients and work with them to ensure all project details are captured correctly. This includes a cost & profit analysis of the product, i.e., cost of goods, prototyping, duties/tariffs, freight, lead times, QC inspection & more
Assist Project Manager in managing 20-50+ projects in various categories such as promotional & retail goods, apparel, barware/drinkware, and packaging (averaging $5k - $100k each)
Assist in helping keep the client informed of all aspects of their project, from development to when the goods arrive at the client’s door, ensuring specs are precise, timelines tracked & deadlines met.
Help navigate global freight & logistics (Post-Pandemic) — Booking LCL, and FCL containers to ship products to ports around the world, understanding timelines (mostly Long Beach Port for US clients)
Assist Project Manager on extensive bidding and cost analysis of hundreds of products for world-famous Spirit Brands across categories like Barware, Novelties, Displays, Drinkware & Apparel
Work closely with our Shenzhen office daily to fulfill requests for quotes/bids with supplier pricing of products with our vendors - please note timezones (PT/GMT+8)
Help manage and collaborate with clients, internal and external designers, and City Global’s international sourcing offices to develop products for a various assortment of brands
Aid in troubleshooting all aspects of production within the development of the product
Collaborate and develop new product concepts, branding, and packaging

QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Undergraduate or Graduate Student
Experience using macs & Excel
IDEAL BUT NOT MANDATORY
Strong background in Finance / Analytics for Quoting / Bids (Heavy Numbers Based)
Experience with Sourcing & Quoting products and textiles with PPAI & China vendors
Solid knowledge of freight forwarding principles with a strategic and consultative mindset.— customs, duties, & tariffs (Currently use Flexport / Shippabo)
Experience using Salesforce, Slack, Mailchimp, Canva &/or Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) & Tech Sheets / 2D Designs
Experience and Knowledge on Sustainable Products - Sugarcane, PLA, Wheat
Experience w/ Photography of products & descriptions for Media Campaigns / Social Media
Experience with Copywriting for Blogs (Design & Creative / Supply Chain / Social Responsibility)

$25 Hourly
